PostHeaderIcon What Polar heart rate monitor (HRM) do you recommend?

I want to purchase a heart rate monitor (HRM) so that I can improve the outcome of my workouts. My cardio typically consists of running on a treadmill at the gym. Does anyone have any input as to which Polar HRM I should purchase? Are there any features that I should keep in mind when making my decision? If you’ve purchased a Polar HRM, which one did you get and are you happy with it? Any input on the matter is much appreciated. Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon Does anyone have billy blanks bootcamp? It says to add the cardio section in, but what dvd is that on?

I am going to start bootcamp tomorrow. I was getting my schedule figured out and writing down the first four weeks of the workouts. It says to add the cardio in, but I don’t know which dvd it is on. Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon what type of workout should i do?

cardio fitness equipment

ok so basically
i exercise everyday but mostly cardio
i also want to build muscle not to much just i wanna have a fast metabolism and long, lean, toned muscles but lose all the body fat (i am also on a healthy, good, diet)
i dont really have access to a gym
the fitness equipment i have is
two 3lb dumbells, one of those fitness balls (the big blow-up ones), a leg press machine and a ski machine (kinda like an elliptical but you arms and legs move independently which = a more efficient workout)
does anyone know of any good workouts or any websites that have them

PostHeaderIcon I just got an elliptical trainer (cross trainer). How long?

should my workouts be. I’m 37, weigh 71 kg (about 150 lbs) and am 168 cm or 5′6″.
I’m in pretty crappy shape right now because I’ve just woken from hibernation (well, not really, but close to it).

So how long and how many days a week? I don’t want to burn out but I want some good cardio benefits.
