is pilates supposed to be done on opposite days of cardio?

i do cardio 3 days per week, i’d like to add pilates and maybe do that 2 days per week. making my monday wednesday friday cardio and my tuesday thursday pilates. is this the way you are supposed to do it?
Cardio Dancing && Pilates. PLEASE HELP?

I am 13 years old (i know this will sound corny) but i earned some money babysitting and im looking into buying some cardio dance and pilates DVDs. Ive done pilates b4 and ive danced all my life. I want to get toned. I have an athletic build…i dont understand “losing weight” cuz i hate looking flabby skinny i want to look toned and i dont mind gaining muscle mass. The question is is this a good idea, how many times a weeks should i do each DVD, and how long will it take me to get very toned. (stomach, butt, thighs, everywhere) haha…

would cardio or pilates be more effective?

- burning 1000 calories doing cardio at the gym
- burning 500 calories doing cardio at the gym, and burning about 200 calories doing a pilates class
Is it alright to switch from yoga to pilates every other day or should I just stick with one?

I have a cardio pilates dvd and a biggest loser yoga weightloss dvd and I was wondering if it would be arlight to switch between the two every other day plus do more cardio at night.

I have a pilates dvd which I like as well as Billy Blanks Ultimate Boot Camp which is great but whenever I do that workout I am too sore to workout for 3-4 days afterwards… Looking for a good aerobics dvd to burn fat and establish some muscle, possibly with the use of resistance bands.

How often should I do Pilates and Cardio?

I’m doing Pilates at home and going to the gym to do the elliptical machine.
I need help coming up with a schedule. Should I do Pilates and cardio both in the same day? If so, how many days a week? Or should I do Pilates one day and cardio the next?
I’ve already asked this question and had a hard time getting the kind of answer I need. So here’s what I’m looking for:
EX: Pilates and cardio Mon, Wed, Frid. OR
Pilates Mon, cardio Tues, Pilates Wed, cardio Thur, etc. OR
Anything else you think would be better…
should pilates be done on the same day as cardio or in between?

i know pilates can be done only 3 days a week to be enough now should i do those on the same days i do cardio or do cardio then the next day ? i heard something hurts the muscles by doing too much bit i am unsure of a schedule and need to be informed so i know and can get started.
Does pilates count as my cardio? Does circuit training take the place of cardio?

I am trying to lose weight and started doing an hour of pilates. And then I do some strength training. I didn’t know if I needed more cardio. I am adding circuit training now and didn’t know if that takes the place of cardio on those days? Please advise. Thanks!
If I do cardio to lose weight and I add pilates to tone will that avoid flabby skin after weight loss?

Pilates and cardio. How long ?

Im thinking of doing pilates. Ive been hearing that pilates alone will not result in weight loss. Is this true ? If so i have to do cardio too. So how many minutes of cardio should i do along with pilates for results ? How many times a week ?
