I have been told conflicting things about this.

The first one is no exercise whatsoever for 6 weeks.
The second was you can do walking & light cardio (on a treadmill or cross trainer) as early as a week after the birth but no abdominal exercises for 6 weeks because the muscles need to heal.

I would like to do some light cardio as long as it’s okay

Oh dear…. i have been trying hard to gain weights but my muscles don seem to grow!!! i am very pathetic guy who is a vegetarian and woke up every 5 :00am to do my weights training…. since gym is no available to me, i have a dumbell curls and barbell curls. I have been training for months and i cant see the difference in my body…. so sad

so should i switch to do cardio every morning at 5am, because that is the only available time i have in my busy schedule or should i stay with the weight which i am very tired of?

Can i increase the intensity (reps, sets, etc) instead of weights to build muscles?

Are there any pro veggie builders who can help this poor guy?

I have only limited equipments so are there any weights training involving only barbell and dumbell curls??

Food that can help me to gain weights.. by the way i am about 55-60kgs, 17 yrs old… so should i gain or lose weghts??

Please kindly help orelse i think i will just give up the whole thing… :(

whats the difference between a cross trainer and an elliptical trainer??

what is better for the joints?
what works what muscles?? I need cardio exercise and want to tone up my lower body more.

Am thinking of getting one and don’t know which is best.

or a rowing machine?? are these any good? I went on one years ago and it didn’t seem to do anything for me - maybe I hadn’t set it right though

PostHeaderIcon what type of workout should i do?

ok so basically
i exercise everyday but mostly cardio
i also want to build muscle not to much just i wanna have a fast metabolism and long, lean, toned muscles but lose all the body fat (i am also on a healthy, good, diet)
i dont really have access to a gym
the fitness equipment i have is
two 3lb dumbells, one of those fitness balls (the big blow-up ones), a leg press machine and a ski machine (kinda like an elliptical but you arms and legs move independently which = a more efficient workout)
does anyone know of any good workouts or any websites that have them

i know pilates can be done only 3 days a week to be enough now should i do those on the same days i do cardio or do cardio then the next day ? i heard something hurts the muscles by doing too much bit i am unsure of a schedule and need to be informed so i know and can get started.

i do cardio monday , wednesday, friday. strength training tuesday thursday. saturday all together. i recently read about pilates and heard you should do 3 days a week but not in a row. so would it be best to add pilates to my cardio days or my strength training days ? can cardio and pilates be done on the same day together? or is that too much for the muscles?

I’m 5′3 150lbs yeah overweight and has a really big midsection problem. I totally have lots of time to workout in the next few months so I’m thinking of working out as much as I can like 6-7 times a week and if I don’t get lazy maybe twice a day.

Does the aerobic/cardio of the different MTV GRIND videos a good combination with WINSOR PILATES’ 100?

I want to lose weight and have a kickin abs/smaller waist but I’m afraid that if I do more on the ab work my fats are just gonna turn into muscles and look like a big girl from WWE with really good looking abs but not a flattering waist. Do you get what I mean?

I just want smaller waist with nice abs and not look like I have nice abs but nothing changed in my size like I still look big.

Ive been doing cardio and pilates for an half an hour everymorning this week. If I keep this up for a while will I see muscles gain anywhere or should i do it longer for an hour?
I don’t need to lose weight im at a normal weight I just want to gain a little more muscle

i am 34 year old, my weight is 64 kg. height is 172 cm.Optimal HRPM is 121 for me. i have loose tummy after pregnancies and large hubs.i do 21 minutes biking +30 minutes crunch time+30 minutes perfect butt training and 30 minutes exercises with fitness equipment every weekday.

do you think this is enough for me to burn fat, tighten my abdo muscles and have less cellulite?

should i do anything more?
