PostHeaderIcon appropriate work out schedule between pilates, cardio, and strength training?

cardio pilates

Okay, my question is if this is an appropriate schedule for my fitness routine:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday - strength training in all the main muscle groups.
Tuesday, Thursday - 1 hour of pilates
Monday thur Friday (and possibly on the weekends if I have the time) - Cardio (mainly treadmill)

Is this giving my body enough time to not stress it out? I don’t want to over tax myself or reach a point where I am working out too much to allow my muscle to build…?

PostHeaderIcon how to add pilates to your cardio and strength training workout?

cardio pilates

i do cardio monday , wednesday, friday. strength training tuesday thursday. saturday all together. i recently read about pilates and heard you should do 3 days a week but not in a row. so would it be best to add pilates to my cardio days or my strength training days ? can cardio and pilates be done on the same day together? or is that too much for the muscles?

PostHeaderIcon Does pilates count as my cardio? Does circuit training take the place of cardio?

cardio pilates

I am trying to lose weight and started doing an hour of pilates. And then I do some strength training. I didn’t know if I needed more cardio. I am adding circuit training now and didn’t know if that takes the place of cardio on those days? Please advise. Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon I’m looking for a good selection of cardio and strength training exercises I can do at home with no equipment

cardio fitness equipment

I live in an extremely polluted city in China and therefore need to exercise indoors. In the past I’ve always trained as a distance runner, but running outdoors here is just not that wise due to pollution and traffic concerns, so I would like to develop a fitness routine I can do indoors when I can’t make it to the gym. I would ideally like to combine strength training and cardio and use no or minimal equipment. Also since I’m not running much anymore I’d prefer to build some bulk rather than stay lean like I usually am. Tall order I know but any routine suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
